As we begin our winter break, I send each of you my appreciation for all you’ve done to support our students and school community this school year. The holiday season can be hectic, and the COVID-19 pandemic can bring layers of considerations to our choices and may change our plans. But this time of year is still a wonderful opportunity to appreciate loved ones and spread joy. Without question this first half of the year has proved stressful, but even more importantly, thanks to amazing staff across FUSD we have an abundance of examples that it has been successful too!

Al comenzar nuestras vacaciones de invierno, les envío a cada uno de ustedes mi agradecimiento por todo lo que han hecho para apoyar a nuestros estudiantes y la comunidad escolar este año escolar. La temporada navideña puede ser agitada y la pandemia de COVID-19 puede traer varias consideraciones a nuestras elecciones y puede cambiar nuestros planes. Pero esta época del año sigue siendo una maravillosa oportunidad para apreciar a los seres queridos y difundir alegría. Sin lugar a dudas, esta primera mitad del año ha resultado estresante, pero lo más importante, es que gracias al increíble personal de FUSD, ¡tenemos abundantes ejemplos de que también ha tenido éxito!

在我們開始寒假之際，我向你們每個人表示感謝，感謝你們在本學年為支持我們的學生和學校社區所做的一切。 假期可能會很忙碌，而 COVID-19 大流行會給我們的選擇帶來多層次的考慮，並可能改變我們的計劃。 但每年的這個時候仍然是感謝親人和傳播快樂的絕好機會。 毫無疑問，今年上半年的壓力很大，但更重要的是，感謝我們FUSD 出色的員工作出很多成功的例子！
