FUSD Launches Return to Campus Readiness Update Dashboard
Posted 2/23/21

In an effort to communicate its preparations for return to campus instruction, the Fremont Unified School District (FUSD) has posted a Readiness Update Dashboard to inform families and the community of its current status in a variety of areas.

“One of the great challenges over the past year in an ever-changing situation is communicating with our families as to where the District stands in terms of its readiness to welcome back students,” said FUSD Superintendent, CJ Cammack. “The Dashboard is designed to show our community what has been done and what is currently being done to prepare for our return to in-person instruction and the plan to do so as safely as possible.”

Dividing preparations into five categories – Facilities, Health Practices, Campus Logistics, Staff and Students/Families – the Dashboard shows the District’s progress in a number of areas as ‘Complete’ or in ‘Process’ at the Elementary, Junior High/Middle School and High School grade levels. The Dashboard will be updated regularly and categories can be added as conditions change. The Dashboard also includes links to FUSD’s COVID-19 Safety Plan and to results of the District’s recent Parent Survey regarding return to campus instruction. Please visit the District website for more information.
