Posted 4/5/19

Teachers and staff in Fremont Unified School District are helping the District shape what 21st-Century classroom furniture looks like. As part of a collaborative effort to meet the needs of students and help support instruction, teachers, staff and even students themselves were invited to come visit six pilot classrooms set up with the futuristic furniture.

Three elementary-style and three secondary-style pilot classrooms were on display for a week, each with a unique form to gather feedback that could be submitted through a paper form, a website or by scanning a QR code with a smart phone. This feedback will be used to develop new classroom furniture menus for future purchases, some of which will be funded by Measure E.
